Interstate Ministries is not just another church, but it is a ministry with a profound mission.

 

We are a body of baptized believers in Christ who understand that the life of any church survives in its mission.

 

The name “Interstate” locates the distance of outreach, and the name “Ministries” bares witness of the diverse gifts of the Holy Spirit in operation within this church.

We should desire all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in order to (more effectively) reach every lost soul.

 

“For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit…” (1 Corinthians 12:8-11).

 

With these diverse operations of the Spirit in the body of Christ, there should be no man who has not, in some way, heard the Word. Though the physical location of this ministry may be in a certain city or town, it has been structured to reach men and women throughout the nation and world!

 

Interstate Ministries is a collection of ministries fitly joined together, working and operating as one body called, “The Church.” The church that is within us will never die, but the church (built by man) will surely pass away. Yes, we realize that we will not be able to save the world by ourselves but we’re making plans to do our part.
